Who is SHAW Healthcare?

SHAW is a private provider of care homes and hospitals across Wales and the UK. We deal mostly with healthcare trusts and employ over 3,000 people in total.

Why did you decide to get a website?

We had had a home-grown site for years but wanted to get something that was easier to update and which would improve our profile in the marketplace and help drive new business.

Why did you chose Sitefire?

Sitefire took the time to sit down with us and go through our requirements. We were confident we’d get what we needed and they cost far less than the other candidates.

Was learning how to make updates difficult?

No, it was incredibly easy and actually far easier than we were expecting. The controls are very intuitive and very similar to writing a Word document.

What benefits have you had from the site?

We’ve saved a fortune in recruitment fees! We do a lot of overseas recruiting and being able to target candidates directly has enabled us to avoid using costly agencies.

Was being able to do your own updates important?

Invaluable. If we’d had to keep contacting a webdesign firm for changes they simply wouldn’t have happened.

Would you recommend Sitefire to other people?

Definitely. Sitefire took away the hassle of doing our website. If we’d known it was this simple, we’d have done it years ago!
